Activities

MOMS Club of Bethesda has many activities that take place each week of the month. Activities are organized and hosted through the members only Facebook page.

Parks & Playgrounds

Each month MOMS Club organizes a visit to a local park or playground. The location is constantly rotated in order to expose our members to the many exciting and enjoyable parks in our areas.

Playgroups

Playgroups are a great way for both moms and kids to socialize. Playgroups are organized based on the age of your child. The members of each playgroup decide on the weekly schedule, time, and location. New playgroups form based on interest and availability.

Trips & Tours

Each month MOMS Club organizes a field trip for moms and kids to an interesting and unique local destination. Examples include:

  • Brookside Gardens Butterfly Exhibit
  • Brookside Gardens Holiday Model Train Exhibit
  • Butler’s Orchard
  • Cabin John Train
  • Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C.
  • Homestead Farm
  • Locust Grove Center
  • Montgomery Fair
  • National Aquarium
  • National Zoo
  • Reston Zoo

Service Projects

MOMS Club organizes service projects throughout the year which focus on children and families in need. Examples of past service projects include donating backpacks and school supplies for children in need, donating candy after Halloween to local hospitals, and collecting supplies for local diaper banks.

Breakfast for New Members

MOMS Club regularly hosts a breakfast to welcome the newest members to the club and introduce them to existing members.

Moms Night Out (MNO)

Moms need a break too! These nights out are focused on moms, and are kid-free. It is a great chance to catch up with friends and mingle. MNOs are typically once a month.
